Luis Grijalva sneaks into the top 10 at the 5th Avenue Race in New York

National athlete Luis Grijalva achieved great results on Sunday in the “5th Ave Mile”, a race held in New York City, USA.

Grijalva, coming off a year where he has excelled in several international competitions, once again finished among the best in the event.

This race is 1 mile (1,609 meters) and Grijalva finished eighth out of more than 8,000 runners who registered for the race.

The nationally renowned long-distance runner completed the course in 0:03:52, a time that earned him a top-10 finish in this traditional New York City race.

In addition to placing eighth overall, Grijalva also placed first among the 8 Guatemalans entered.

This 5th Avenue race in New York has been held since 1981 and has seen some top athletes compete in it.
